Job Description

Email and SMS marketing coordinator driving campaigns, bookings, and repeat participation for a sports and recreation business. Coordinating facility sales and remote pickup-game operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, write, build and send email and SMS campaigns promoting facility time, pickup games, registration opportunities and relevant offers
  • Create audience segments by location, sport, expressed interest, booking history and engagement
  • Build and improve welcome, lead follow-up, incomplete-booking recovery, reminder, repeat-booking and win-back flows
  • Write clear English copy and adapt brand assets into mobile-friendly emails
  • QA audiences, dates, time zones, prices, links, personalization and suppression rules before launch
  • Monitor delivery failures, bounces, complaints and opt-outs; maintain consent records and healthy lists
  • Test messaging, timing, offers and journeys, and report enquiries, bookings, repeat participation, revenue and engagement metrics
  • Maintain accurate information about facility locations, dates, time slots, capacity and pricing
  • Respond to sports-space enquiries, recommend availability, prepare approved quotes and follow through booking and payment confirmation
  • Maintain the sales pipeline, document customer commitments and pursue renewals or repeat bookings
  • Coordinate with operations before promising availability or exceptions; escalate issues outside authority
  • Create and maintain pickup-game listings with location, time, capacity, pricing and player instructions
  • Monitor registrations and fill levels and use targeted outreach to fill available places
  • Coordinate with local hosts and venue contacts
  • Manage player questions and waitlists and communicate approved changes
  • Identify low-enrolment games, host gaps and venue problems and escalate cancellation, refund or safety decisions
  • Track attendance, feedback and repeat participation to improve future games
  • Learn inventory, customer journeys and operating processes; audit campaigns and establish follow-up and QA routines
  • Take ownership of the campaign calendar and sales pipeline and improve priority automations

Requirements:

  • Practical experience building email campaigns and automations
  • Hands-on SMS marketing experience
  • Strong written and spoken English for North American customer conversations
  • Confidence following up with leads, explaining offers and asking for bookings
  • Strong attention to detail with schedules, prices, customer records and competing deadlines
  • Experience with a CRM and an email/SMS platform, such as Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Mailchimp or comparable tools
  • Comfort using spreadsheets and reports to understand conversion, bookings and campaign performance
  • Dependable communication and willingness to own the next action until an issue is resolved
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends in Toronto/Eastern time
  • Experience in sports, venue bookings, inside sales, event coordination, customer service or ecommerce retention is helpful
  • Completion of the Culture Index survey
  • Completion of the Criteria GAME assessment in English

  • Expected variable commissions of US$500–US$1,000
  • Expected total compensation of US$1,300–US$2,000 per month
