Job Description

Salesforce Platform Architect designing enterprise Salesforce solutions for LTS’s Department of Veterans Affairs program. Leading architecture, integrations, governance, security, and technical teams remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions aligned with VA OMEGA program requirements
  • Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives
  • Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance policies
  • Evaluate and recommend integration patterns and middleware solutions
  • Oversee data modeling, security architecture, and platform performance optimization
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams
  • Communicate architectural decisions and technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a remote work environment

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and implementation
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
  • Experience with data modeling, integration patterns, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CodeScan, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing in Salesforce environments
  • Lead rigorous code reviews and PR evaluations to enforce high standards of system architecture, security, and performance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of AI/ML capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
