Job Description
Scrum Master facilitating agile teams in software development projects at Extractta. Promoting collaboration, resolving impediments, and ensuring adherence to agile principles in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective)
- Track and monitor agile metrics
- Remove impediments that may impact Sprint delivery
- Ensure adherence to agile values and practices, promoting continuous improvement within the team
- Act as a mediator in situations of conflict and misalignment within the team
- Assist the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog and prioritizing work items
- Shield the team from external interruptions that could compromise Sprint progress
- Foster a learning culture and process improvement within the team
- Support the team in resolving critical issues during the Sprint.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Scrum Master
- Knowledge of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies
- Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote team collaboration
- Familiarity with agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown/Burnup, Lead Time, and Cycle Time
- Ability to remove impediments and handle conflicts effectively
- Experience with agile project management tools
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently and guide the team to achieve its goals
- Preferred: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
- Experience in mobile app development or digital product environments
- Knowledge of frameworks complementary to Scrum, such as Kanban and SAFe
- Experience in development environments with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Ability to work with stakeholders and influence strategic decisions
