Job Description
Senior Accountant supporting a multi-client environment remotely at Ultra Precise Accounting. Responsible for full-cycle accounting tasks and ensuring financial record accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting tasks including transaction coding, reconciliations, and accrual-based adjustments
- Support month-end close processes for multiple client accounts
- Prepare and review financial reports including P&L and Balance Sheet
- Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and GAAP-aligned
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Manage workload across multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Communicate clearly with internal team members regarding deadlines, issues, and priorities
- Follow established workflows, documentation standards, and internal controls
- Maintain strong organization and responsiveness in a remote environment
- Work primarily in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Utilize firm tools and workflows to support accuracy, review, and close processes
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation as systems evolve
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong working knowledge of accrual accounting and GAAP
- At least 2 years of experience in a multi-client environment (accounting firm or bookkeeping firm)
- At least 2 years of experience working remotely
- Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide at least one professional reference from a direct supervisor (two preferred)
