Job Description

Senior Associate managing financial performance analysis and reporting at CVS Health. Collaborating with senior management and assisting in strategic initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Manager in preparing financial performance analysis, reporting, and support across designated regions
  • Assist in communicating and interpreting financial results to field leaders
  • Prepare materials for and attend recurring touchbases with field leadership
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses requested by Divisional Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, and Senior Medical Directors
  • Assist in developing and preparing new educational materials
  • Support the Senior Manager as the dedicated financial Subject Matter Expert during the Onboarding process of newly hired field leaders
  • Support the generation and preparation of center-level financial reporting
  • Compile and update reporting in collaboration with the FP&A Team
  • Track improvement/deterioration rates for priority centers and benchmark performance against peers
  • Assist in managing JV Reporting (actuals & projections)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative field preferred
  • 3-5 years of healthcare finance experience; value-based care or Medicare Advantage experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience with financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., Adaptive, Tableau, or similar BI/visualization tools)
  • Familiarity with data querying/management tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience assisting in the development of educational/training materials is required
  • Proven ability to manage personal workload, prioritize tasks, and contribute effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to conduct or support ad-hoc analyses and identify performance trends
