Job Description
Senior Back-End Engineer building Node.js and PostgreSQL services for Rechat’s enterprise real estate platform. Designing scalable APIs, data models, and high-performance database solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and maintain core services supporting CRM and Marketing platforms
- Build advanced, scalable data models for the real estate industry
- Write efficient, high-performance SQL queries and optimize database operations
- Develop features with robust unit and integration testing
- Collaborate with Customer Success to understand agent workflows and improve user experience
- Influence architectural decisions for long-term maintainability and growth
- Partner with front-end developers and cross-functional teams
- Monitor industry trends and contribute ideas for new features and backend improvements
- Lead projects when needed and help improve engineering culture
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five to seven years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education
- Deep experience with JavaScript and Node.js
- Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning
- Background in designing, building, and testing scalable backend services
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Creativity in solving complex technical challenges
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Background and reference checks required
