Job Description
Senior Business Systems Analyst leading the elicitation of MDM requirements through stakeholder engagement. Collaborating to define data governance and integration workflows for Ascension Technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end elicitation of business and Master Data Management (MDM) requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and data profiling to deliver high-quality domain models, business cases, and traceability matrices.
- Partner with Data Governance and Product Owners to define standardized master data definitions, hierarchies, and stewardship rules.
- Design and document complex data integration workflows—including batch, real-time, and API-based patterns.
- Oversee the implementation and testing of MDM logic while proactively triaging and resolving data quality defects and integration failures throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Proven experience working with Master Data Management platforms or initiatives (e.g., Provider MDM, Person MDM, Customer MDM, etc.).
- Experience in enterprise Data Integration (ETL/ELT, APIs, FHIR, HL7, data pipelines) across diverse source and consumer systems.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, User stories, and acceptance criteria.
