Job Description
Senior Client Service Manager supporting Wealth Enhancement’s personalized financial planning and investment management clients. Managing complex service operations, advisor support, client relationships, and team mentoring.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clients and financial advisors
- Act as the primary point of contact and welcoming face of the team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive relationship management
- Provide advanced support to financial advisors
- Oversee high-priority client requests and transactions
- Coordinate client communications and meetings
- Support efficient and effective operation of the practice
- Mentor and train client service team members
- Answer phone calls and respond to client messages
- Send routine follow-ups, status updates, and meeting reminders
- Manage inbound client requests, including beneficiary updates, address changes, and RMD questions
- Order office supplies and coordinate office maintenance
- Complete prospect and new client paperwork and setup
- Follow up on fund transfers and maintain Salesforce databases and client files
- Research and resolve issues with the Broker/Dealer, WEG Operations, and vendors
- Record incoming assets in the appropriate blotting tool
- Understand client histories and current financial needs
- Prepare account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, and RMDs
- Communicate client requests to advisors or handle issue resolution, including death claim processing
- Work with clients’ tax or legal counsel when needed
- Gather client data and prepare materials for client meetings and reviews
- Conduct tax research on 1099s and complete review follow-up
- Execute WEG’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and sales model
- Attend client services, company educational, and vendor presentation events
- Assist financial advisors in client meetings
- Resolve escalated client issues
- Complete operational projects and support process and system enhancements
- Communicate process and sales updates to the team
- Assist Advisor Team Operations with process, systems, and upgrades
- Participate in company-offered sessions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for company initiatives and rollouts
- Manage vendors to Service Level Agreements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 7-10+ years of industry experience required, including client-facing experience
- Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM required
- Experience with Schwab and Fidelity required; experience with Pershing preferred
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels of staff and clients
- Ability to prioritize workflow and projects
- Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a deadline environment and be flexible under pressure
- Ability to work as a team member and support more junior staff
- Comfort with learning new AI applications and understanding their appropriate use cases and limitations
- Working proficiency with annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, and charitable giving practices
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, file documents in high or low cabinets, use the telephone, and use computer systems
