Job Description
Senior Credit Analyst responsible for underwriting franchise transactions at Amur Equipment Finance. Assessing creditworthiness and market positioning while mentoring colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Seeking an experienced Senior Credit Underwriter with a strong background in underwriting franchise transactions
- Expertise in assessing the quality and creditworthiness of franchise operators and the market positioning of franchise brands
- Ability to analyze structured and unstructured information as well as financial statements to identify trends and outliers
- Dedication to mentor and train colleagues in both financial analysis and underwriting
- Thorough knowledge of internal credit processes and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with personnel and clients
- Well-developed planning, time management, and organizational skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalently five years of related financial experience preferred
- At least two years in a Senior Credit Analyst Position required
- Full Financial Franchise Restaurant Underwriting experience
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite and Salesforce
- Self-motivated with strong initiative, accountability, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization as well as clients
