Job Description
As a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Binance, develop algorithms for blockchain compliance analytics. Play a key role in the safety and compliance of the largest cryptocurrency exchange.
Responsibilities:
- Develop cutting-edge algorithms for transaction analysis, entity clustering, risk assessment, and pattern recognition
- Design address clustering algorithms for UTXO chains with near 100% accuracy
- Build and optimize risk scoring models to assess address and entity risk levels
- Develop detection systems for illicit activities
- Monitor algorithm performance and maintain <1% false positive rate
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvements
- Research graph neural networks for risk propagation
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- 5+ years of algorithm development, machine learning, or data science experience
- 3+ years of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency analytics experience (preferred)
- Track record of deploying algorithms in production environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication to explain complex algorithms
- Self-motivated, works independently in fast-paced environment
- Team collaboration and mentoring abilities
- English proficiency required
