Job Description
Senior Delivery Manager overseeing complex software initiatives in enterprise AI. Leading project delivery and managing enterprise client relationships for high-impact outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own delivery end-to-end; scope projects with clients and engineering teams
- Define clear roadmaps, break work into phases, and maintain momentum across engagements
- Be the structure your client cannot build themselves; define workstreams and establish operating cadence
- Navigate and actively manage multiple stakeholders; maintain clear alignment across teams
- Act as a forward deployed operator; embed with client teams on-site periodically
- Communicate status before anyone has to ask; provide structured updates
- Unblock teams and drive execution; manage change requests and ensure clear agendas
- Translate between technical and business contexts; communicate constraints clearly
- Coach engineers to operate as independent consultants
- Improve how teams operate; assess processes and identify inefficiencies
- Drive visibility and accountability; ensure documentation and accessibility
- Drive AI adoption within engagements; identify opportunities for productivity improvement
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities; turn delivery success into additional scope
- Leave the client stronger than you found them; ensure knowledge transfer and improvements
Requirements:
- 7+ years at a top-tier consulting firm or an enterprise technology services environment
- Proven track record delivering complex software initiatives end-to-end
- Strong commercial instinct; managed enterprise client relationships worth $1M+
- Deep experience working directly with enterprise clients in a B2B or services environment
- Strong operator with an unblocking mentality
- Comfortable operating on-site with clients; periodic embedded engagement is an expectation
- AI-forward in how you work; use AI tools daily to automate workflows
- Technically fluent; work closely with engineers and understand system constraints
