Job Description
Senior Communications Specialist coordinating functional communications & enhancing employee engagement at Stryker, helping 50,000+ employees understand strategic changes and priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Help employees understand strategy, navigate change and see how their work contributes to our shared success.
- Support functional communications — delivering clear, actionable messaging tied to business priorities and projects.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and help shape communication approaches to drive alignment, understanding and action.
- Partner across functions, regions and communications teams to align messaging and share best practices.
- Champion the Stryker brand by applying brand standards consistently across communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of communications-related work experience required.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with eye for detail; knowledge of AP Style preferred (writing assessment will be required).
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Familiarity with communication tools and platforms a plus (SharePoint, Viva Engage, Marketo or other email marketing tools, etc.).
