Job Description
Senior Finance Business Partner guiding financial strategy for Marie Curie's hospice and nursing services. Lead a team to analyze and optimize the use of charitable funds for end-of-life care.
Responsibilities:
- Join Marie Curie’s Finance Business Partnering team, supporting the organisation’s nine hospices and nationwide nursing services
- Work alongside clinical and operational leaders across Caring Services, ensuring charitable funds are used effectively, sustainably, and in ways that maximise impact for people at the end of life
- Lead a team of four Finance Partners and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy across Caring Services
- Provide high-quality insight, forecasting, and analysis to senior leaders to empower informed decisions
- Ensure best possible value with every pound spent, helping secure sustainability and future growth of frontline services.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent)
- Significant experience in senior finance business partnering within a large or complex organisation
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team
- Ability to build advanced financial models and communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance colleagues
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify key trends and influence strategic and operational decisions
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships at all levels
- Proven ability to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and business performance
- Previous experience in health, social care, or the charity sector is beneficial.
