Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst building three-statement FP&A models for Vultr’s cloud infrastructure business. Supporting planning, forecasting, contract economics, and executive reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain driver-based three-statement financial models covering the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Support the long-range plan, annual budget, and rolling forecast
- Manage the internally owned long-range planning model, including assumptions, scenarios, sensitivities, and cycle roll-forwards
- Own monthly forecast and close workstreams by consolidating revenue, opex, headcount, and capex inputs
- Reconcile inputs to general ledger actuals and produce variance analysis with root-cause explanations
- Model contract-level economics, including revenue ramps, deployment timing, unit economics, payback, IRR, and debt service coverage
- Analyze infrastructure contract structures such as revenue shares, capacity backstops, residual value guarantees, and customer prepayments
- Prepare management, board, and lender-facing reporting, including budget-versus-actual bridges and KPI packages
- Build scenario tooling for deployment slips, contract roll-offs and renewals, pricing sensitivity, and capital deployment alternatives
- Support ad hoc strategic and transaction analysis, debt and equity financing processes, deal evaluation, and corporate development workstreams
- Work directly with the Head of FP&A and CFO
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, FP&A, corporate development, or a comparable role with direct ownership of three-statement financial models
- Demonstrated analytical rigor, including decomposing variances to their drivers, quantifying forward impact, and communicating findings clearly to senior leadership
- Comfort extracting economic terms directly from contracts, order forms, and transaction documents
- Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling, including scenario and sensitivity architecture
- Ability to run multiple workstreams in a lean, fast-moving team with executive visibility
- Investment banking experience with exposure to infrastructure, data center, cloud or semiconductor industries is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure business models, usage/consumption billing, or large-scale CapEx-intensive businesses
- SQL or comparable data extraction skills
- NetSuite ERP / NSPB, Salesforce, and Google Workspace proficiency
