Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst leading accounting close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting. Supporting management decisions across Ascension’s nonprofit Catholic healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
- Lead standard accounting functions, including month-end close and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Perform cost and financial variance analysis of data from internal sources to identify and explain discrepancies
- Support accurate financial reporting and effective decision-making through financial analysis
- Perform analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information
- Serve as a consultant to all levels of management, providing decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures
- Perform necessary reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
Requirements:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- OR Associate's degree
- OR Bachelor's degree
- OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
- Advanced Excel experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
