Job Description
Senior Fire Safety Consultant conducting fire risk assessments, audits, and consultancy support. Mix of on-site visits and home-based work with travel across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting fire risk assessments.
- Audits and providing top-tier consultancy support to our clients.
- A mix of on-site visits and home-based report writing.
- Travel to various sites is essential, so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.
Requirements:
- High-level fire-related qualification (degree or Level 4/5 Diploma minimum).
- At least 5 years in commercial and residential Fire Risk Assessments.
- Thorough understanding of current legislation, Building Regulations, and British Standards.
- Excellent report writing, IT, and communication skills.
- Professional Memberships : IFE (AIFireE minimum) or IFSM (MIFSM minimum).
- Experience with Passive Fire Protection Surveys, Retrospective Fire Strategy documents, smoke control calculations, and thermal radiation analyses.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
