Job Description
Product Data Consultant ensuring high-quality, scalable product data at INSPORT Digital GmbH. Collaborating with content, IT, and external partners to automate product data processes.
Responsibilities:
- As a Product Data Consultant, you ensure our product data is delivered with high quality, consistency and scalability.
- You work at the interface between Content, IT, partners and business units, actively supporting the transition from manual to automated product data processes — with a clear focus on B2C.
- You support Content Managers and external partners in building, maintaining and developing efficient, semi-automated processes for enriching and updating product master data.
- You act as the central contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product data processes.
- You analyze existing structures, identify optimization opportunities and, together with the business units, derive concrete measures.
- You ensure the quality of data received via interfaces and initiate appropriate corrective actions in case of deviations.
- You develop processes for error detection, prevention and data validation (consistency, plausibility).
- You contribute to the further development of our central product data system, particularly in the area of automated error detection, derivations and notifications.
- You document processes and enhancements and work closely with adjacent teams.
Requirements:
- Degree or commercial/administrative vocational training with relevant professional experience, ideally in e-commerce or product data environments
- Analytical mindset and very confident use of Excel (including conditional formulas, lookups, analyses)
- Experience working with data and a basic understanding of interfaces and data flows
- Ideally, knowledge of electronic data interchange (API, EDI)
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Structured, independent way of working and strong communication skills
- Team player, solution-oriented and hands-on mentality
- Very good German and good English skills
