Job Description

Senior Frontend Engineer developing seller-facing products at Paddle, collaborating to enhance the design system and deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform seller-facing products such as the dashboard into rich, seamless experiences to help our sellers grow their business and maximise the value Paddle can offer them
  • Shape and enhance our design system in collaboration with product designers, driving adoption in multiple products
  • Contribute high-quality Typescript code in a large codebase used by several teams, optimising for collaboration, developer experience and throughput
  • Champion frontend excellence and ways of working across the frontend guild
  • Collaborate on features to a high standard from initial concept and planning, right through to rollout, with other engineers and non-technical colleagues, and with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Level-up the team’s engineering practices through mentoring other engineers, leading the technical planning of team initiatives, and driving improvements to quality, with an eye for edge-cases
  • Practise DevOps: you’re responsible for getting your code to production, supporting and monitoring its performance

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background with proficiency in TypeScript, React and CSS
  • Deep interest in excellent user experiences and how they can be achieved through technical craftsmanship
  • Thrive in a collaborative product development process, actively contributing from design through to deployment and maintenance
  • Have a proactive attitude towards finding ways to improve the code and team processes
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the development process—from design through to deployment and maintenance
  • Are someone who takes pride in what you build, with an eye for detail and edge-cases
