Job Description
Senior Fullstack Engineer building Java and React microservices and micro-frontends for Inetum Polska’s digital commerce platform. Developing cloud-native features with Kubernetes and AI-assisted coding.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve a distributed online platform based on microservices and micro-frontends
- Take end-to-end ownership of features across backend and frontend within the same service
- Build and maintain Java, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux backend services, REST APIs, and integrations
- Develop frontend functionality using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and NPM
- Work with CMS-delivered content and content delivery services
- Implement new platform features and migrate legacy applications to modern architecture
- Refactor the codebase, reduce technical debt, and resolve long-standing technical issues
- Contribute to adoption of API standards including TM Forum Open APIs
- Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Use AI coding agents and AI-assisted development workflows in daily engineering
- Contribute to improving AI-assisted development practices within the team
- Work on initiatives ranging from short tasks to larger projects
- Participate in knowledge transfer and maintain technical documentation
- Share technical knowledge with other developers
Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience developing modern web applications, with strong backend expertise and Senior-level independence
- Strong practical knowledge of Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- REST API design with JSON
- Understanding and hands-on experience with reactive programming, Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, or comparable reactive stacks
- Frontend experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and NPM
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, WireMock, Git, JPA/Hibernate, XSLT, XPath, and XQuery
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience, including deployment, operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Experience developing and evolving microservice-based and distributed systems
- Practical experience with AI-driven software development, such as GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, coding agents, context management, harness engineering, or spec-driven development
- Regular use of AI coding agents and ability to explain how they improve development workflows
- Ability to own features from design through production and make technical decisions in distributed architectures
- Proactive, analytical, quality-oriented, and continuous-improvement mindset
- Willingness to challenge existing approaches, contribute ideas, review code, share knowledge, and support developers
- Ability to work effectively in Agile, distributed, and international environments
- English and Polish, written and spoken, minimum B2
- Nice to have: micro-frontend architectures, Helm charts, Jenkins CI/CD, NEOS CMS, legacy migration, refactoring and technical debt reduction, distributed multinational and remote teams, BDD, and Playwright
