Job Description

Senior Healthcare IT Project Manager leading complex healthcare technology implementations across Australia. Managing large-scale healthcare IT transformation programs for better care outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex Healthcare IT implementation projects and programs across all phases of delivery, including planning, initiation, analysis, development, configuration, integration, testing, training, deployment, go-live and project closure
  • Conduct Implementation Planning Studies (IPS) with customers to define detailed scope, delivery approach and implementation strategy
  • Establish and manage the end-to-end delivery plan, including baseline schedules aligned to the Dedalus Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Own overall project financial performance, including tracking actuals against budget and managing professional services utilization
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues and change control, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and customer expectations
  • Facilitate structured workshops and decision forums across clinical, operational and technical stakeholders
  • Ensure robust program governance and reporting, including internal and external project status reporting
  • Coordinate integration activities, data migration strategies and deployment readiness across delivery workstreams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years project or program delivery experience
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale enterprise software implementations
  • Experience leading complex healthcare IT or digital transformation programs
  • Strong experience working with clinical and operational healthcare stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary delivery teams
  • Experience managing large program schedules, dependencies and governance structures
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous delivery environments
  • PRINCE2, PMBOK, MSP or equivalent project management certification (Desirable)
  • Advanced experience using delivery and planning tools such as MS Project, Excel, Jira, Confluence or similar (Desirable)
