Job Description
Sr. Manager of Infrastructure leading cloud and hybrid infrastructure at Progressive Leasing. Partnering across teams to ensure operational excellence and compliance in a FinTech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for cloud, hybrid infrastructure, networking, and platform services
- Own engineering quality, architectural integrity, technical standards, and operational readiness of Infra platforms
- Drive initiatives including modernization (EKS, EC2, VPC), Terraform IaC improvements, firewall modernization, DNS, certificates, and identity infrastructure
- Manage core environments supporting production, staging, development, and shared services
- Ensure secure, scalable, cost-efficient, compliant platforms
- Maintain strong execution discipline with clear owners, deadlines, and accountability
- Partner with SRE, Ops, Incident Management, InfoSec, and Engineering teams
- Grow, mentor, and coach systems engineers; build a culture of accountability and craftsmanship
Requirements:
- 7+ years in infrastructure engineering; 3+ years in leadership
- Strong AWS proficiency (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, WAF)
- Experience driving large-scale infrastructure execution
- Strong understanding of infra security and compliance (SOC2/SOX)
- Excellent communication and execution discipline
- Preferred AWS certification (Solutions Architect or SysOps)
- Preferred ITIL or service management experience
- Preferred Experience in highly regulated, high-availability environments
- Preferred Terraform / IaC tooling experience
