Job Description
Senior Manager managing implementation of marketing buying channel platforms for Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Strengthening procurement processes and enhancing supplier performance management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and optimization of marketing buying channel platforms
- Strengthen marketing procurement processes and enhance supplier performance management
- Utilize Scope of Work (SOW) tools effectively and oversee rollout of the Scope of Work tool
- Develop and implement clear Ways of Working and structured Planning Process Calendar
- Design and optimize analytics dashboards to maximize procurement tools
- Establish and embed a comprehensive Supplier Performance and Relationship Management framework
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to team members and cross-functional partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing procurement, sourcing, or related fields
- Proven experience in category-specific sourcing within marketing agencies
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing marketing agency buying channels (e.g., AMS, Decideware, or similar platforms)
- Strong expertise in agency negotiations and aligning sourcing outcomes with broader business objectives
- Solid understanding of operating within a regulated environment
- Forward-thinking, AI-ready mindset with interest in exploring AI-driven opportunities within marketing services
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive innovation
- Exceptional analytical, project management, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, trust-based relationships in a collaborative team environment
