Job Description
Proposals and Contracts Senior Manager supporting TFS HealthScience, a global contract research organization. Leading CRO proposals, budgets, contract negotiations, and commercial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate, oversee, and provide complete business support for the business development team from client meetings through proposal generation and contract closing
- Manage complex proposal, contract, and change order processes
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client-facing documents and project budgets
- Serve as senior subject matter expert and key contact for internal stakeholders and clients
- Lead negotiations with clients, Legal, Business Development, and operational teams regarding contractual terms, budgets, Letters of Intent, Start-up Agreements, Work Orders, and Change Orders
- Provide strategic commercial guidance to senior leadership, Business Development teams, and project teams
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support workload management and prioritization within the Proposals & Contracts team
- Ensure compliance with TFS SOPs, processes, policies, and quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the CRO industry
- Experience in proposal development, budget generation, contracts management, clinical research, business development, or sales
- Expertise in proposal writing, contract negotiation, budget development, and commercial operations within a CRO environment
- Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and CRO business operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems such as Salesforce
