Job Description

JLL occupancy planner analyzing workplace space, utilization, and capacity data for client portfolios across Europe. Developing occupancy scenarios, migration plans, audits, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the point of contact for site and campus-level customer space requests and planning questions
  • Supply key site data for housing initiatives, including attendance metrics, utilization rates, space type ratio gaps, projected RSM, most/least used spaces, site perception, pinch points, and meeting/huddle room locations and ratios
  • Attend meetings for major renovation projects, small projects, and project moves
  • Contribute to strategic planning to resolve campus/building-specific forecasts and issues
  • Develop migration plans and sequencing of group-level relocations
  • Participate in understanding preliminary program requirements for departments and buildings
  • Develop stacking diagrams by location, building, and floor
  • Apply Hybrid work and Design for Attendance principles
  • Lead utilization studies using sensors, manual observations, and badge swipe data
  • Present JLL Occupancy Planning Benchmarking and share industry occupancy planning trends
  • Apply occupancy planning technologies and understand how AI can support occupancy planning processes
  • Provide occupancy data, housing project, and Occupancy Planning initiative updates for client-facing reports and presentations
  • Facilitate and participate in quarterly capacity and population audits for all regional sites
  • Ensure site capacity, population, seat assignments, and floorplans are accurate in FMS/SPACE
  • Report current supply, capacity, and three-year inventory forecasts
  • Measure and report cost savings and value-added contributions
  • Collaborate with the Client's Workplace Strategy Team, Real Estate Board, Real Estate Cluster Leads, HR, department leads, external design partners, and JLL One Team

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years experience in facilities, space planning, occupancy management, or CAD/CAFM related roles
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Real Estate, Interior Design, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with office utilization, office design principles and hybrid work trends
  • Attention to detail and spatial creativity
  • Strong data storytelling abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint proficiency
  • AutoCAD and FMS proficiency are desirable
