Job Description
Senior Operations Engineer managing Edifecs application operations and providing technical support to enterprise clients. Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end operations for Edifecs hosted or customer hosted application instances
- Provide L2, L3 level technical support to enterprise clients
- Perform root cause analysis of problems
- Partner with Product Support Engineers and development teams
- Analyse application and database performance
- Develop, enhance and maintain custom monitoring systems
- Create and maintain deployment standards
- Continuously find opportunities to automate tasks
- Proactive management of submission cycles
- Collect all necessary problem details from customers
- Successfully reproduce customer issues in a controlled environment
- Follow standard operational procedures for case management
- Deliver a consistent, responsive and satisfying customer experience
- Continuously improve troubleshooting skills
Requirements:
- B.Tac/MCA in Computer Science
- Experience of Java, JMS
- SQL Server/Oracle
- Web/Application Servers like Apache Tomcat/IBM WAS
- Experience with Windows and Unix platforms
- Proficient in resolving complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
