Job Description
Building and scaling multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure for OpenCoreOS’s AI-native platform. Architecting distributed systems and driving automation and security.
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS/GKE) for five-nines workloads.
- Architect active-active distributed systems (Kafka, CockroachDB/YugabyteDB, Redis).
- Implement Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Flux/ArgoCD) across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Own DR, failover, backup/restore, and multi-region resiliency.
- Drive zero-trust security, identity, multi-tenant isolation, and cryptographic audit trails.
- Build and maintain stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, and OTEL.
- Lead AI-driven automation (auto-remediation, incident insights, AI-based root cause analysis).
- Support on-prem/air-gapped deployments and legacy integrations.
Requirements:
- Deep Kubernetes (EKS/GKE; operators/CRDs a bonus)
- Terraform (multi-cloud)
- GitOps (Flux or ArgoCD)
- Kafka / Event streaming
- Distributed SQL databases (CRDB, YugabyteDB)
- Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
- DR, HA, and Zero-Trust architecture
- Language: Go (AI-accelerated development welcome)
