Job Description
Private-Cloud-Consultant für Proxmox- und Kubernetes-Infrastrukturen bei Cloud Manta. Leitung von Cloud-Projekten, Automatisierung und Kundenberatung im Remote-Team.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and lead cloud projects
- Provide hands-on engineering and specialized consulting to customers
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Create and manage Infrastructure-as-Code templates using Terraform
- Design and implement secure, scalable private cloud architectures using Proxmox and Rancher, and where applicable AWS/Azure
- Ensure cloud solutions meet security and compliance standards
- Develop security and monitoring concepts
- Proactively troubleshoot and optimize existing cloud infrastructures
- Where applicable, handle service tickets as part of cloud operations, with no night or on-call emergency shifts
- Where applicable, mentor, coordinate, and onboard a junior consultant
Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience in cloud consulting, with a focus on Proxmox and Kubernetes, ideally at the enterprise level
- Solid Linux expertise
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Proxmox, CI/CD, and Terraform, as well as other cloud technologies and tools
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and Rancher is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for mentoring a junior cloud consultant and sharing knowledge, where applicable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with confidence in working with customers
- Reliability
- Fluent German (C2) and English (C1)
