Job Description
Critical Minerals Procurement Leader focusing on supplier relationships and contracts for critical minerals. Collaborating with Procurement and Engineering teams at GE Aerospace to secure essential mineral supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Own creating and implementing strategies, supplier relationships, and contracts for critical minerals
- Organize regular meetings with key members of Procurement and Engineering teams
- Create data-based tracking and management of elemental supply
- Analyze and create a baseline of geopolitical risk for your category
- Meet with and manage current suppliers within your category
- Scout, identify, and establish relationships with new suppliers
- Lead the Procurement process for new contracts, including Deal Review and negotiation
- Manage supplier relationships to be a trusted contact at GE Aerospace
- Evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain or Contract Management roles
