Job Description
Category Specialist at Kimberly-Clark managing North America Tissue Procurement Strategy. Driving supplier relationships and creating a responsive supply chain through data and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead North America Tissue Procurement Strategy as part of the Global External Contract Manufacturing team.
- Create a connected community across Procurement and ECM operations teams.
- Deploy the category strategy, building a resilient, cost-effective supply chain through analytics.
- Collaborate with cross functional product owners across Procurement, Planning, Logistics, and other teams to achieve goals.
- Develop strategic supplier partnerships that deliver measurable business opportunities and continuous innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, engineering, or relevant field
- 4+ years of Procurement, Supply Chain, or related business experience
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, and Stakeholder Management
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage programs in a matrixed organization
- Ability to work across global regions, cultures, and time zones
- Ability to reconcile diverse business strategies and challenges
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
