Job Description

Senior Product Analyst for Social Discovery Group leveraging data analysis and statistical methods to drive product insights and decisions. Focus on user behavior, A/B testing, and BI reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and alternative statistical experiments, improving test sensitivity and choosing the right methodology for each case
  • Work with data in Python, including API integrations, parsing, feature preparation, and building simple ML models (regression, segmentation, clustering)
  • Write complex SQL queries (window functions), optimize performance, build procedures, and develop analytical data marts
  • Track and improve key product and marketing metrics such as LTV, CPA, retention, conversion rates, and funnel performance
  • Create dashboards and reports using BI tools (Superset, Tableau, PowerBI) to support product decision-making

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of mathematical statistics, experimentation, and applied hypothesis testing
  • Confident Python skills for data processing and applied machine learning tasks
  • Advanced SQL expertise, including query optimization and data warehouse understanding
  • Solid product and marketing analytics background with a clear understanding of unit economics and user metrics
  • Experience with BI tools and the ability to communicate insights through data visualization
  • Business & goal-oriented mindset: focus on measurable impact and delivering results that matter
  • Strong product thinking: ability to connect metrics with real user behavior and pain points
  • System-level thinking: ability to move from high-level strategy to detailed execution and back
  • Critical thinking: questioning data quality, assumptions, and validating conclusions through cross-checks
  • Effective communication skills: clear storytelling supported by numbers and references ability to explain complex topics in a simple way structured conclusions with actionable recommendations and expected impact confidence in presenting and defending analytical results
  • High level of ownership and independence: proactively identifying growth opportunities and driving initiatives end-to-end
