Job Description
Senior backend engineer building scalable TypeScript systems for Attio’s agentic-revenue CRM. Designing reliable infrastructure and REST APIs for ambitious go-to-market teams.
Responsibilities:
- Use strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and GCP to move the company and product forward
- Lead projects end-to-end to solve real customer problems
- Architect systems powering new features for performance, reliability, security, and scale
- Re-architect existing systems as scaling demands grow
- Design REST API contracts for internal and external consumers
- Represent Attio’s Product & Engineering values internally and externally
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and GCP
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, secure backend systems
- Excellent knowledge of modern Cloud Native systems architecture
- Expertise with Node.js and TypeScript
- A track record of ownership and product delivery
- A proactive, self-motivated problem solving attitude, with a strong passion for advancing and innovating in distributed systems
- Ability to communicate technical ideas to the wider team and influence stakeholders across Engineering, Product and Design
- Experience contributing to, or participating in open source projects (nice to have)
- Interest or experience in mentoring other members of the team (nice to have)
- Experience working with data-rich backend applications or processing large volumes of real-time data (nice to have)
- A love for experimenting with new ideas, tools and techniques, and exploring new technologies (nice to have)
- Ongoing right to work in the location applied for, or potential future support from Attio
