Job Description

Senior Product Manager driving ownership and execution of digital products at Branch. Collaborating with teams to bridge business strategies and technical execution for impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Take Ownership: Own the roadmap and lifecycle for one or more core digital products or a set of complex, high-impact business initiatives.
  • Manage Complexity: Break down abstract business goals into actionable technical requirements, navigating increasing business and technical complexity with confidence.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Define success metrics (KPIs) for your products and use data analysis to prioritize features and improvements. Also, be ready to dive into user research & testing.
  • Leadership: Act as the primary product lead for a development team & stakeholders.
  • Agile Management: Manage backlogs, roadmaps & planning, and ensure the team has a steady stream of "ready" work.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the output meets the quality standards expected by our users & stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in internal conversations regarding process improvement. We want you to help us write the playbook, not just follow it.
  • Documentation: Contribute to internal documentation, creating clarity for stakeholders and future team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Marketing, Sales & Service to ensure we are working on the right things, at the right time.
  • Mentorship & Learning: Collaborate with your leadership & peers, also passing on knowledge and skills to others who are learning their craft. Demonstrate a learner's attitude by soliciting feedback and constantly upskilling.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of direct experience managing digital products (Web, Mobile, or SaaS).
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable communicating complex concepts to engineers and translating technical constraints to business stakeholders.
  • Agile Experience: Proven track record of delivery in an agile environment (managing backlogs, sprints, and standups).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to create clear, concise documentation.
  • The "Right" Attitude: A self-motivated team player, who is not afraid to ask questions, values team work, and takes a proactive approach in their daily work.

Benefits:

  • Above-market salary - Branch is a data-driven company, so we do the math on salaries, too. If you get an offer from Branch, you can expect compensation that hits above the mark.
  • Pay equity and transparency - Our pay isn’t just market-driven, it’s equitable. We let experience and performance drive your success, never your gender, race, orientation, or beliefs.
  • Remote-first (with perks) - Work from where you’re most comfortable. We’ll take care of your work from home set-up and monthly internet. We also have a Columbus headquarters if you’d like to join us in an office.
  • Flexible YouTime - We don’t just let you control your own time off. We actually encourage you to use it. After your first year at Branch, we’ll give you $1000 toward your next vacation.
  • Employee stock options - You’re not just an employee. If you’re full-time, you’re also a part-owner. You’ll have stock options so you can invest in the company you’re helping to grow.
  • Medical, vision, dental - Get all the coverage you need for a healthy, happy life.
  • 401k and contribution matching - Invest in your future. Branch helps you get to retirement on time with a portion of your contributions matched each month.
