Job Description

Senior Product Manager ensuring vehicle data integrity and user experience at Gringo & Zapay. Leading public integration strategies for optimized costs and impeccable user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Excellence in Integration Strategy: define and evolve the integrations roadmap, ensuring scalable expansion with stability, and lead solutions to mitigate instabilities of external systems without impacting the user experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: optimize cost per request by balancing performance and quality, and define and track KPIs such as success rate, latency, and data reliability.
  • Data Quality and Governance: ensure the integrity and reliability of real-time data, guaranteeing correct processing and compliance with security standards and LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law).
  • Technical Leadership and Collaboration: translate business objectives into clear technical challenges for the team and lead stakeholders, communicating the area’s value strategically.
  • Relationship Management and External Influence: manage relationships with government bodies and external partners, anticipate changes and drive improvements, and translate technical complexity for different audiences.

Requirements:

  • Required (must have):
  • Mastery of technical and business efficiency metrics: ability to manage KPIs such as Success Rate, Latency, Cost per Request, Cost to Serve, and ROI of integrations.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills: experience negotiating with and influencing external partners, government agencies, and vendors, adapting communication to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and APIs: deep understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Webhooks), authentication, information security, and LGPD.
  • Technical discovery leadership: experience conducting discovery processes to validate technical and business feasibility in high-uncertainty scenarios.
  • Exceptional communication: fluent ability to move between software engineering discussions and presenting business results to the executive team.
  • Resilience and problem-solving: mindset focused on finding viable alternatives when facing unstable government systems or scarce documentation.
  • Nice to have (not required):
  • Strategic FinOps perspective: ability to analyze and optimize technology operational costs, balancing performance and profitability.
  • Previous experience with government integrations: familiarity with the structure and technical/bureaucratic challenges of government systems (Detrans/DMVs, Denatran, SEFAZ, or Transparency Portals).
