Job Description

Senior Product Marketing Manager shaping positioning, launches, and sales enablement for FMG’s all-in-one financial marketing platform. Driving growth through market insight, competitive strategy, and AI-enabled go-to-market programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product positioning and messaging for target buyer personas
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to articulate how products solve buyer problems
  • Research buyers, buying behavior, and key buying criteria
  • Document buyer journeys and improve sales and marketing processes
  • Own and analyze the competitive landscape
  • Synthesize customer feedback from Sales, Customer Success, win/loss analysis, and product usage for Product teams
  • Plan and lead go-to-market launches for new products and existing-product releases
  • Manage cross-functional launch implementation from planning through launch
  • Train sales channels and create battlecards, pitch narratives, objection-handling materials, and other sales tools
  • Train customer support channels on products, documentation, FAQs, resources, and common customer questions
  • Develop demand programs supporting retention and acquisition
  • Track program effectiveness and report results and changes needed
  • Align Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success on strategy, priorities, and positioning
  • Represent FMG innovation and supported products through speaking engagements and written work
  • Build messaging frameworks, launch playbooks, templates, and institutional go-to-market knowledge
  • Use AI tools for research, drafting, competitive synthesis, launch preparation, and AI-assisted go-to-market workflows

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience
  • At least 2 years in a market-facing role delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis, and performing market research
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning, messaging, and launch plans across cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills and ability to prove what is working with data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong public speaking skills and comfort presenting to large, senior groups
  • Strong writing skills
  • Experience with collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and HubSpot
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Amplitude
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or marketing technology
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating as priorities shift
  • Innovation orientation and ability to scale go-to-market processes
  • Daily AI tool usage, effective prompting, critical evaluation of outputs, and ability to identify AI leverage in product marketing
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
  • Preferred: Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) III or higher
  • MBA is a plus
