Job Description

Senior Project Manager leading end-to-end SaaS mortgage implementations for Canadian financial institutions. Coordinating discovery, delivery, testing, deployment, and post-launch stabilization through nesto Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise client implementations from discovery through deployment and post-launch transition
  • Facilitate discovery workshops with subject-matter experts and requirements sessions
  • Define scope, dependencies, and timelines
  • Translate business and technical requirements into actionable delivery plans using Jira and Confluence
  • Coordinate Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and external vendors
  • Drive progress and resolve blockers
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
  • Provide weekly status reports, risk logs, and steering committee updates
  • Track project health and identify delivery risks, capacity constraints, and cross-program dependencies
  • Align workstreams across major accounts with other project managers
  • Contribute to the evolution of nesto’s delivery framework
  • Build foundational product management standards and practices for the growing PM organization

Requirements:

  • Located in Quebec, with preference for candidates based in the Greater Montreal area
  • Fluency in French is required
  • 7+ years of experience in project management
  • At least 3 years of experience in SaaS environments
  • Enterprise SaaS delivery experience is a must
  • Experience or understanding of non-functional requirements, including monitoring, alerting, high availability, and production/cloud operations
  • Direct customer interaction experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Experience interfacing with executives, clients, and technical teams
  • Ability to manage complex, ambiguous programs with many moving parts
  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to coordinate diverse teams
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools
  • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery models
  • Successful background, criminal, and reference checks
  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and/or other agile PM certifications are nice-to-have
  • Technical background in engineering or a similar adjacent domain is nice-to-have
  • Experience with financial institutions, mortgage or lending technology, or regulated B2B environments is nice-to-have
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Gemini is nice-to-have
