Job Description
Senior Software Tester developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks at SavvyMoney. Collaborating with developers to ensure quality software for financial technology products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation frameworks and scripts
- Maintain and improve test automation
- Create automation testing discipline within development and QA teams
- Execute automated tests against the application
- Work closely with developers to understand application requirements
- Document found issues, track their status, and communicate effectively
- Perform regression testing
- Document test plans and procedures
- Work in cross-functional areas with internal partner engineering teams
Requirements:
- 6+ years of Automated Testing frameworks experience
- Proficiency/Experience in testing tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Understanding different testing types (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, regression testing)
- A basic understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and coding practices
- Effective communication skills
- Experience debugging both front-end and backend applications
- Start-up company experience preferred
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of developers, product managers and system administrators
