Job Description
Senior Go Software Engineer developing critical systems for Stone, a Brazilian payments technology and financial services company. Building scalable, secure production features and collaborating through code reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain new features
- Take responsibility for developing systems that are critical to the company
- Monitor system performance and the impact of system changes
- Document implemented changes
- Build and maintain production systems with a focus on performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, resilience, and integration with the application ecosystem
- Identify gaps in architecture and the development process and propose solutions
- Conduct code and documentation reviews
- Implement automated tests
- Develop software in Go
- Collaborate with the team through code reviews, highlighting best practices and potential improvements
Requirements:
- Ability to identify gaps in architecture and the development process and propose solutions
- Ability to conduct code and documentation reviews
- Experience implementing automated tests
- Experience developing software in Go
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Ability to collaborate with the team through code reviews, highlighting best practices and potential improvements
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Kafka, or IBM MQ is a plus
- Knowledge of approaches such as microservices, Event Sourcing, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, or Lambda Architecture is a plus
- Experience with relational and non-relational data modeling is a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Azure DevOps is a plus
- Experience with public and private clouds such as OpenStack, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is a plus
- Knowledge of and interest in the financial market is a plus
