Job Description

Senior Staff Enterprise Architect designing and operating AWS-based HPC and AI platforms at GE Vernova. Ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance for complex engineering design workloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and operate integrated HPC and AI platforms on AWS, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance for engineering design workload
  • Design and implement cybersecurity controls in partnership with Compliance teams to meet U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) Export Control requirements
  • Lead platform reliability by troubleshooting systemic issues and driving scalable, long-term solutions that improve cost efficiency and operational performance
  • Apply AI/ML techniques to optimize infrastructure utilization, workload performance, and day-to-day operations
  • Deliver architecture roadmaps aligned to product rollout needs and business outcomes
  • Mentor and develop team members, leading blended teams that include third-party partners and cross-functional collaborators.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in cloud infrastructure or systems architecture
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating AWS Cloud environments
  • Strong background in Linux administration, automation, and software deployment
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools
  • Knowledge of HPC schedulers, storage systems, and networking
  • Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and resolve systemic technical issues
  • Experience applying AI/ML techniques for infrastructure optimization or operational improvement.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality or process improvement credential.
  • Demonstrated change management capabilities in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience working within U.S. Export Control regulated platforms and implementing associated cybersecurity controls.
