Job Description
IT Project Manager at Kenco Logistics responsible for leading high complexity projects across business units. Managing resources and ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span one or more business units
- Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to standard SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle
- Manage issues, budgets, risks, and project change requests
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Typically responsible for 2 to 5 high complexity projects
- Collaborate with executive-level managers and directors
- Define and create project plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation
- Proactively manage and report on all financial aspects of the projects
- Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
- Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree - preferred in Information Technology required or equivalent work experience
- 5 – 7 years of experience in strategic planning, implementation and systems integrations
- Experience within Logistics (preferably Third Party Logistics), Warehousing and/or Transportation
- PMI certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience working on project and portfolio management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Clarity, Workfront, etc.)
- Experience with multiple project management methodologies
- Familiarity with modern networking, software, and firmware technologies and architectures
- Experience with enterprise financial management systems, human capital management systems, HighJump, Blue Yonder, and/or MercuryGate is a plus
- Experience in establishing a product strategy and roadmap
