Job Description
Senior Staff Product Designer elevating product and interaction design at Latin America's largest housing platform. Leading complex initiatives, mentoring designers, and applying AI to user experience development.
Responsibilities:
- Operate at a mature level of strategy with a clear connection to business impact.
- Serve as a technical reference, delivering valuable contributions and sharing best practices and methodologies with the immediate team and broader chapter.
- Take charge of holistic visualization and future outlook.
- Lead complex projects autonomously, including sophisticated negotiations, mediations, and ecosystem considerations.
- Facilitate processes between squads and teams.
- Drive design excellence through a hands-on approach while elevating the quality bar across products.
- Influence strategic decisions as an individual contributor while collaborating with designers and stakeholders across domains.
- Leverage AI within the design workflow to improve productivity and pioneer new ways of building user experiences.
- Mentor other designers and proactively enhance design quality and designers' craft skills.
- Understand user needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with leaders of other disciplines and influence the roadmap, bringing a strong design point of view.
Requirements:
- Strong craft in product and interaction design, with proven experience building digital products, particularly in mobile applications.
- Leadership maturity, combining strategic alignment with a strong desire and repertoire to stay hands-on.
- Proactive, autonomous and highly organized, with clear and structured communication.
- Exceptional prototyping skills, rapidly visualizing and exploring multiple product design directions according to hypotheses while considering technical, business, and experience goals.
- Track record working in the entire product development process, from problem-framing through to detailed UI and visual design.
- World-class portfolio, with a track record of designing and shipping industry-leading digital products.
- Experience running workshops and facilitating co-creation sessions.
- Experience presenting design work to senior stakeholders (C-level).
- Knowledge and experience in user psychology, research methodology, and usage data.
- Fluent English skills (verbal and written) are mandatory.
- Experience on projects using AI (desirable).
