Job Description
Senior/Staff Software Engineer building AI agents and AWS infrastructure for Loancrate’s AI-native mortgage origination tooling. Integrating lending APIs and shipping production systems.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and launch multi-step AI agents that digitize mortgage operations workflows
- Integrate third-party lending services APIs for disclosures, automated underwriting, and fraud
- Build next-generation job processing infrastructure on AWS for observability and reliability
- Ship to production on day one
- Mentor less senior engineers
Requirements:
- 7-25 years of full-stack web development experience, from design through deployment
- 5+ years of senior-level TypeScript/React/Node/GraphQL/Postgres experience
- Experience with AWS and Terraform
- AI product development lifecycle experience (evals, datasets) preferred
- Security mindset
- SRE mindset
- Complex relational schema design
- US hours
- Visa transfers only (OPT, H1B transfers)
