Job Description
Senior Strategy Manager supporting TELUS' corporate Indigenous reconciliation commitments. Collaborating with teams to drive strategic storytelling and deliver impactful outcomes aligned with reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to materialize TELUS' Reconciliation Commitment and Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan
- Support the impact of our reconciliation efforts through storytelling
- Lead the development and delivery of TELUS' annual Connectivity Report and website
- Support the national partnership with the Moose Hide Campaign
- Create project plans and apply project management methodology
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Indigenous rightsholders
- Continually identify and champion new approaches for reconciliation
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience in communications, strategy, or program management
- Deep understanding of Indigenous cultures, protocols, ways of knowing, and organizations in Canada
- Strong background in strategic planning and project management
- Proven track record for consistently delivering results while working within tight deadlines
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and adapt to change
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across organizational levels
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to anticipate challenges
- Proficiency with Google Suite and comfort with data analysis and survey tools
