Job Description
Senior Business Analyst handling design and delivery of finance applications in tolling industry. Aligning business requirements with technical specifications in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and operational delivery of finance systems
- Partner with The client workstreams and the customer to align requirements, solution design, and delivery
- Convert business, compliance, and regulatory requirements into clear technical and functional documentation
- Provide and defend multiple accounting and technical solution options while ensuring compliance
- Support finance system production operations including:
- Settlements
- Revenue closures
- Reconciliation
- Work with and manage integrations / dependencies with third-party vendors such as:
- Payment gateways
- Banks
- Lockbox vendors
- Collections agencies
- Support audit readiness and compliance activities, including:
- PCI
- SOC audits
Requirements:
- 10+ years of tolling industry experience (strict requirement)
- Proven experience designing and delivering finance applications
- Individual contributor with delivery authority (not a people manager)
- Strong technical background (not PM-only), with a focus on:
- Databases
- Financial data modeling
- Hands-on experience implementing GAAP and GASB compliant finance systems
- Deep expertise in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Chart of Accounts (CoA)
- Journal Entries
- Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into:
- Functional specs
- Technical specs
- Experience building or configuring General Ledger within SAP S/4HANA (strong plus / near-mandatory)
