Job Description
Senior Technical Product Manager driving AI-powered AML, compliance, and verification products at Sumsub. Owning automation, APIs, detection algorithms, and agentic workflows globally.
Responsibilities:
- Drive development of AI-powered AML and Compliance products for onboarding and ongoing monitoring
- Own the evolution of automation, AI capabilities, and agentic workflows across the product
- Improve accuracy, speed, and user experience while applying ML and AI to compliance challenges
- Unify AML Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Risk Scoring across KYC and KYB platforms
- Translate regulatory requirements and commercial needs into technical specifications, REST API schemas, JSON payloads, webhooks, and rule-matching logic
- Drive feature execution from technical discovery through sprint delivery, deployment, and billing setup for new AML modules
- Expand detection capabilities for general and regional crime typologies
- Reduce false-positive rates and investigation costs by fine-tuning name-matching algorithms and leveraging high-precision automation, including LLM-driven workflows
- Design monetizable standalone AML modules and features that drive customer upsell and increase annual contract value
- Serve as the technical expert with clients, client-facing departments, and third parties
Requirements:
- 4+ years of direct Product Management experience in FinTech, RegTech, or B2B SaaS
- Deep hands-on exposure to Anti-Financial Crime products, including AML Screening, Sanctions/PEP, Transaction Monitoring, or Risk Assessment
- Background as an Analyst, Software Developer, QA Engineer, or Technical Architect who transitioned into Product Management
- Ability to read code, evaluate API schemas, and discuss backend microservices authoritatively
- Highly self-driven and comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment with high autonomy
- Fluent English
- Ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into clear logic for developers, internal stakeholders, and client compliance executives
- Comfortable using AI to optimize day-to-day processes
- Ability to write SQL queries is nice to have
- Experience applying LLMs, computer vision, or advanced ML models to unstructured compliance data is nice to have
- ACAMS or formal anti-financial crime qualifications are nice to have
