Job Description

Senior Salesforce Product Owner modernizing the platform for Stats Perform, a sports data and technology company. Owning roadmap, backlog, stakeholder alignment, and scalable user-focused solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the Salesforce product vision, roadmap, and release plans
  • Evangelise, educate, and demonstrate Salesforce best practices
  • Provide confidence to stakeholders and reduce noise and conflict
  • Make authoritative decisions on priorities and justify the product vision to C-level and SVP stakeholders
  • Form steering and working groups to manage business requirements
  • Set expectations and resolve conflicts with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce queries and decisions
  • Provide C-level updates, metrics, and progress toward the vision and strategy
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value and ROI
  • Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, backlog pruning, and reviews
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions and support
  • Champion user-centric Salesforce design and functionality
  • Drive platform adoption and continuous improvement
  • Gather feedback and analytical data to optimise solutions and demonstrate ROI
  • Support training and enablement initiatives
  • Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, security, and governance standards
  • Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and technical debt
  • Maintain process and solution documentation
  • Own the core vendor relationship with Salesforce and associated systems

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years experience as a Product Owner or Consultant working within Salesforce
  • 5 years plus experience managing product backlogs and delivering digital products
  • 5 years plus experience in delivering large scale Salesforce deployments, instance over-hauls, and/or critical integrations
  • Architectural technical and business enablement authority in Salesforce products, specifically Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud
  • Strong practical understanding of Salesforce configuration, including flows, objects, and validation rules
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Product Owner, or Platform App Builder are highly desirable
  • Commercial mindset with focus on value delivery and ROI
  • Experience with Salesforce vendor relationship management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of additional Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud is desirable
  • Experience deploying and generating value from Data 360 and Agentforce is desirable
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore teams is desirable
  • People management experience is desirable but not essential
