Job Description

Senior Test Automation Engineer designing test automation strategies using C# and .NET. Leading QA initiatives for backend testing and cloud migrations in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive test automation and quality practices
  • Define, own, and drive the overall test automation and QA strategy
  • Design and maintain a scalable automated testing framework with clear documentation
  • Build and support reliable CI/CD test pipelines for efficient test execution
  • Develop and maintain automated tests across E2E, API, and UI layers
  • Ensure test environments and data are stable and repeatable
  • Expand and evolve a reliable automated regression suite
  • Implement and track clear quality metrics and reporting
  • Identify quality risks and work with engineering and product teams to address them early
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to align on priorities, expectations, and timelines
  • Promote automation best practices and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of test automation experience with C#/.NET
  • Strong backend test automation expertise, including designing and automating API tests using .NET libraries (RestSharp, Refit)
  • Extensive database testing experience, including complex queries and data validation
  • Proven expertise with NUnit/xUnit
  • UI test automation experience, preferably with Playwright
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and readiness to work with Azure/ Azure DevOps for future cloud migration
  • Ability to define, design, and implement a QA automation strategy from scratch
  • Strong client-facing communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • High level of ownership, independence, and proactivity
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level
  • Hands-on Python experience (desirable)
  • Experience with PDF validation (desirable)
  • Experience supporting cloud migrations (desirable)
  • Familiarity with AI concepts or AI-assisted testing tools (desirable)
