Job Description
Remote Service Engineer providing post-sales technical support and consulting services for Agilent's systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, customer interaction, and field work for installation and training.
Responsibilities:
- Provides remote post-sales hardware and software technical support and services to external customers and/or internal field personnel
- Troubleshooting customers’ applications and delivering consulting and education services using phone, digital and e-Learning platforms
- Travel and visit customers as needed
- Leverage post-sales interactions with customers to probe and qualify further revenue opportunities as well as provide highly qualified leads to sales
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering or equivalent
- Typically, at least 1-2+ years relevant experience
- Clear, respectful and timely verbal and written communication
- Problem-solving, critical thinking and customer service skills are preferred
- Experience with Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) is a bonus
