Job Description
ServiceNow Developer designing and enhancing ServiceNow applications for Improvix Technologies’ federal and corporate IT clients. Supporting secure, reliable platforms through Agile development, scripting, architecture, and performance improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Support federal customers as a ServiceNow Developer
- Design, configure, develop, and implement baseline and custom ServiceNow applications and enhancements
- Provide architectural input
- Maintain overall platform stability by applying appropriate design and development standards
- Work independently and as a technical team member
- Work in multiple instances and domains, supporting internal and external customers
- Use Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work
- Advise functional and administrative teams on ServiceNow design, development, and best practices
- Collaborate with business, systems, and technology partners to develop business and systems requirements
- Develop requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
- Script Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and related components
- Facilitate and support rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow
- Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements
Requirements:
- Secret clearance required; Top Secret eligible
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions
- Strong familiarity and working knowledge of the ServiceNow Suite of tools, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident, and Knowledge Base
- Proven developer experience independent of the ServiceNow platform
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Competency with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP/PRINCE2 practices
- Experience working on project teams that leverage Agile/Scrum
- Experience with system/software engineering lifecycle principles
- Ability to translate requirements into functional and technical solutions
- Experience with application implementation and support
- Experience with enterprise monitoring
- Experience working with large data sets and performing data analysis/modeling
- ServiceNow Developer Certification preferred
