Job Description

Mid–Senior Shopify Developer contributing to cloud infrastructures and supporting e-commerce ecosystems at DaCodes. Working remotely with a focus on long-term managed services engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on diverse projects across multiple industries
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructures
  • Boost professional growth and gain exposure to disruptive startups and global brands
  • Support a large-scale e-commerce ecosystem operating across the United States and Canada
  • Combine ongoing support, platform stability, feature development, and integrations for live production systems
  • Understand how technical decisions impact business performance, sales, and customer experience

Requirements:

  • Advanced English (spoken and written)
  • Part-time availability, with at least 6 hours per day aligned to Pacific Time (PT)
  • Ability to provide coverage until 6:00 pm PT when required
  • Comfortable working in a real-time collaboration and production support model
  • Previous experience in e-commerce environments is mandatory
  • 4-5+ years of professional experience in Shopify development
  • Proven experience supporting live, high-traffic e-commerce environments
  • Previous experience working in managed services or long-term support models
  • Strong understanding of performance, security, and scalability best practices
  • Comfortable working with evolving priorities and partially defined requirements
  • High sense of ownership, accountability, and operational responsibility
  • Ability to work independently within distributed teams while collaborating closely with stakeholders
  • Strong experience with Shopify development
  • Proficiency in Liquid
  • Experience maintaining and extending custom Shopify themes
  • Solid JavaScript knowledge (Vue.js is a plus)
  • Experience managing large product catalogs using CSV files
  • Hands-on experience with Laravel (PHP)
  • Working knowledge of React
  • Experience consuming and maintaining Shopify Admin APIs
  • Familiarity with Webhooks and API-driven architectures
  • Experience with Blade templates is a plus
  • Experience integrating with platforms such as Klaviyo, NetSuite (ERP), Wishlist tools, Store Locator solutions, Marketing automation platforms (e.g., Wunderkind)
  • Nice to have: experience with custom carts (Remix / Node.js)
  • AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Beanstalk
  • CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeCommit, CodePipeline)
  • Basic database optimization knowledge
