Job Description
Software Asset Administrator Intern supporting IT Asset Management team. Maintaining software licensing compliance and assisting with entitlement records for a tech leader.
Responsibilities:
- Support maintaining accurate software entitlement records
- Assist with compliance tracking
- Support day-to-day software lifecycle operations
- Ensure software licenses are properly recorded, allocated, reconciled, and documented
- Assist with closing the backlog of software request tickets
- Add and maintain publisher records within ServiceNow SAM Pro
- Perform software catalog and product model clean-up activities
- Support End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) remediation efforts
- Identify low-usage or unused software installations
- Execute software reclamation activities
- Assist with maintaining accurate entitlement and license records within ServiceNow
- Support reporting efforts related to software usage, reclamation, and compliance
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Engineering or related field
- US citizenship required
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow documented processes and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in IT systems, data management, or asset governance
